Normally, Dorian took to sitting in the VIP lounge, watching those coming into his club from above. But tonight, something compelled the Rocket to mingle with the guests. Perhaps it was boredom setting in. After all, things had been a little too quiet for his taste lately. And considering that he couldn't just cut loose, mingling with strangers was the second best thing he could do.

Clad in a dapper white and baby blue suit, Dorian sat at the bar, sipping one of his mixed drinks. Makeup disguised the burn mark on his face, thus obfuscating his most identifiable feature. As Dorian sipped his drink, he turned his gaze towards one of the young women in the club.

✦ REALITY IS STRANGER THAN FICTION

The joyful step and movement that follows the rhythm of the song, working out of a sweat yet no sign of displeasures can be found on Lyssa's face - Only joy. A club such as this has become easily be one of her favorite past times where she can just go in and have a blast with quality music. Sure there is a charm of its own by dancing to an indie musician, either their cover or original, but if she is being honest - It doesn't beat the feeling of music that she knows is good and she will enjoy it. As she works out the whole song with an impromptu choreograph that she made on her own, hogging the spotlight like a diva, Lyssa decides to step down for a moment to catch some breath.

Once she gets out from the dance floor, her eyes accidentally met someone else's eyes - From the looks of it, he has been staring at her for a while now. Lyssa let out a smile and shrugs a little bit, approaching Dorian and take a seat right beside him. "Something sweet and light please" Lyssa order a drink from the bartender. While the bartender is busy preparing her order, Lyssa turns to the man - "Like the view?" Lyssa smirks.

Dorian watches the young woman's dancing with interest. The Mad Dog couldn't help himself. Her beauty was, frankly, captivating.

Dorian watched as the young woman took a seat next to him, ordering a drink. The bartender would fix up the drink for her. Similar to Dorian's order, only lighter, as she requested. "Of course. I take it you're enjoying the atmosphere?", he'd ask her.

The bartender would finish preparing her order, before making a fresh drink for Dorian. "I do hope you enjoy your drink.", Dorian would tell her warmly.

There is a pause for a moment from Lyssa but then a burst of laughter erupts, "Ahaha... Sorry for the sudden laugh. I find something amusing but it doesn't really important" Lyssa sweep away the tears that formed from the laughter. She was expecting that the man would fluster a bit with her frontal teasing, instead he just completely ignore it. She doesn't know about others but she finds that funny. "Yeah, the place is great. Although, if I may be honest - It is not the best one that I visited it should be around the top" Lyssa states her opinion about the place. Swirling the drink before taking a sip, "Oh, it climbs up a rank. This drink is delicious" Lyssa was pleasantly surprised by the drink that she got.

"So, is it normal for the owner to be here? Or was I interrupting something?" Lyssa asks enigmatically, coining down that the identity of the person in front of her is the owner of this place despite he hasn't introduced himself yet.

Dorian, at least outwardly, isn't fazed by the sudden outburst of laughter. Perhaps its his years of experience dealing with crazy people, but Dorian simply lets it slide.

Dorian watched as the woman took her drink. Dorian turned to the bartender, and flashed him a genuine smile. He would then turn back to their guest.

"To be honest, I'm mostly up in the VIP lounge. But tonight, I felt like spending time out on the floor. And I have to say, tonight was the right night to do so.", Dorian told her, his tone somewhat playful.

"If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?", he'd ask her.

The question disturbed her for a moment but she makes sure to not show it outwardly. Inside she is sure that even if she says about her origin, no one would ever make a connection between her and her own family - It is not like the fame of her family reaches out outside Alola. But inside within her lays her paranoid self whispering anxiety-inducing words. "I usually move around so I don't have a permanent resident" Lyssa decides to run away from the question and answer it with her current condition. It is not a lie but it is also not the entire truth. "I go around the region, dancing and performing. But I have a plan to settle down somewhere soon and create an agency of my own" Lyssa shares a bit of her wish in the future in an attempt to change the topic. [break][break]

"Are you from around here? Any place that you would recommend me to visit?" Lyssa asks then her face brightens as if she remembers something "any place beside this place of course." Lyssa smiles let out a teasing remark.
